Check out these great photos from a customer in Brazil that
bought the Airhead Na Pali while visiting the United States! Proof that the Na
Pali is extremely easy to inflate and portable to take anywhere you want!
Please keep in mind the United States Coast Guard has officially
classified stand up paddleboards (SUP) as a vessel. SUP, the newly
classified vessels must comply with federal Navigation Rules and “carriage”
requirements when operated beyond the limits of a swimming, surfing or bathing
area. Adult stand-up paddlers are required to have a USCG-approved life jacket
also known as Personal Floatation Device (PFD, Type III) for each person, a
sound signaling device (whistle), visual distress signal and navigation light
(flashlight).
Though these regulations may not be true for Brazil &
South America, Airhead still recommends that all SUP users wear a PFD or have
one on board along with a sound signaling device and visual distress signaling
device. Check out the 2 convenient Airhead SUP
Coast Guard Kits that are available for purchase. Both come in a handy
storage bag that's equipped with suction cup attachment points or tie off
points for easy storage and transportation.
